  • All Votran fixed-route buses are accessible with wheelchair lifts or ramps and is available on request by anyone. Our operators are trained in wheelchair securement and proper assistance techniques to help persons with disabilities.
  • All buses kneel (the front step lowers) to make boarding easier. 
  • Save Money! Reduced fares are available for youth (ages 7-18), seniors (ages 65+), persons with disabilities, and Medicare recipients with proper I.D. Value passes for 1, 3, 7, and 31 days are available at regular and reduced rates. Riding the bus also helps you save money by reducing wear-and-tear on your vehicle and fuel purchases.
  • No need to call ahead. Buses run on a fixed schedule. No more wondering what time your trip is scheduled or when your bus is coming. If you're not ready to go or decide to stay longer, just catch the next bus. Some routes have a bus every 30 minutes during peak travel times (usually 6-10am and 3-7pm weekdays) while other routes run every hour.
  • Buses are safe, clean, and equipped with audio/video recording equipment.

  • All stops printed on the Votran schedule and all major intersections are announced by the automated talking bus system or the bus operator.
  • Votran is available to give presentations to your group or meeting to provide information about services, how to ride, and how to navigate our website.
