If you purchase reduced fare passes online or through mail order requests and have them delivered by USPS, riders must show proof of eligibility upon boarding a bus. Riders must show Government issued ID card, Valid agency ID, or Valid Volusia County school student I.D. card, Medicare card (Red, White and Blue card, not Medicaid Gold Card), passport or Votran ID card when boarding the bus.  For information about obtaining a Votran Photo ID card see Votran Photo ID section below.

The following fares apply on Votran scheduled route service.

Votran Photo ID cards can be obtained at the Votran administration office at 950 Big Tree Road in South Daytona.  Photo ID cards can be made Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m..  Riders can get there on the Route 7.  Votran Photo ID cards can be used as proof of reduced fare.  To obtain the photo ID card bring proof of age or disability to the office along with your best smile.  Photo ID cards are made on the spot and available immediately.  There is a $2.00 charge for the photo ID card.

Transfers are not offered.  Riders may purchase the all-day pass for unlimited boardings on regular routes for the entire day.  Other pass options are available for use on consecutive days. 

Value Passes

Fare swipe cards provide unlimited boardings for the time limit of the pass, valid for consecutive days after the first use. This allows Votran to offer more pass options.  Fares are half price for seniors, youths and the persons with disabilities. An All-Day Pass can be purchased on any Votran bus.  All other value passes can be purchased at Votran's Transfer Plaza or Main Office at 950 Big Tree Road South Daytona.  You can also puchase passes at locations throughout Volusia County.  For a list of those locations CLICK HERE.
